6 Hour Mountain Bike Race

Saturday, October 29th, 2011 From 10 AM til 4 PM

The 2011 Tumbling Creek Rumble 6 Hour Mountain Bike Race will be held on the trails at Gainesville State College in Oakwood, GA on Saturday, October 29th.  The race will start at 10:00 AM and the last lap must be completed by 4:00 PM.  The course is approximately 6 miles in length and consists of mostly singletrack with some doubletrack thrown in for safe passing.  Rain date will be Sunday, October 30th, 2011.

Race Registration Information

In an effort to encourage Online Registration we are including the online registration provider's fees into the flat race fee. If you insist on not using the online registration then we have set up a mail in registration process. Mail in entries that are incomplete or do not arrive in the mail by Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 may not get processed before race day!

Race day registration will be available and will open at 8:00 AM race day morning. There will be a $10.00 late fee added to the normal published race entry fee.

Adult Race entry fee is $50.00 for Solo classes, $90.00 for 2 person classes and $130.00 for 3 person classes.

Junior Race entry fee is $40.00 for Solo, $70 for 2 person class and $100 for the 3 person class.

College students will receive a $10.00 cash refund at registration check in when they present a current valid student Id.

Race entry fee includes electronic chip timing, a commemorative pint glass and chances to win SWAG. Special awards will be handed out to the top three finishers in each class at the awards ceremony following the race.

Kids 6 to 12 years old race for FREE! There is no pre-registration necessary for the Kids Race.  The Kids Race will start at 9 AM on a shorter course. Special awards for all kids that race.
